Given ISN’s responsibility toward the safety and health of the global community and following instructions from the health authority of UAE, WCN’20 is not proceeding as planned and will not take place in March 2020. The Abu Dhabi Public Health Center (ADPHC) has informed all its local stakeholders – including EMAN (local host society and partner) – urging the cancellation of all events for March 2020 and the two months beyond.
This is an unfortunate outcome for the congress, ISN and EMAN, all who have been working diligently to make the congress a success, and especially all the delegates who are the most important part of such an educational and networking event. It is an outcome, however, that is in the best interest of a safe and healthy environment worldwide.
We realize also that you have been struggling with concerns about health safety and travel disruptions as you planned for your travel and attendance. We thank you for your patience and understanding as ISN and EMAN worked with local authorities to consider all options and monitor guidance from health agencies.
