The ongoing COVID-19 pandemic currently has the whole world reeling from the dangerous viral threat and its far-reaching effects on health, the economy and other aspects of human life. As we are forced to modify our lifestyle to the “new normal”, our society sees an opportunity to adapt as well.
Although the annual convention was cancelled, the Philippine Society of Nephrology believes that this unfortunate turn of events should not be an impediment to continuing medical education. The PSN Scientific Committee is restructuring the annual convention format into “The Web Lecture Series”. Every Wednesday 6 PM starting June 3, 2020, esteemed colleagues and experts will hold online lectures on relevant topics and updates in the field of medicine, nephrology and research. Lectures will be recorded so those who cannot be online during the specified time can still have access.
