President’s Christmas Message
Noel M. Castillo, MD
It’s that time of the year when most of us are in a celebratory mood for a number of reasons: family, gifts, parties, food, vacation, etc. The improving numbers as far as COVID-19 cases are concerned definitely contribute to this feeling of buoyancy. This may not be the case for those of us who have lost a loved one because of this health scourge. This may also not be the case for many of our friends and colleagues from various parts in the south who are still reeling from the devastation wrought by the recent typhoon. Let’s keep all of them in mind in our prayers as we reflect on the true meaning of this season. It is a season of hope and gratitude anchored on a living Person. Hope, because the source of all hope was born on Christmas Day. Gratitude because acceptance of our nothingness without Him warrants this. May the true spirit of this season pervade our families. Merry Christmas to all!!!
